Our Client, an ASX listed company with over 400 sites Australia and New Zealand wide, is an industry leader and Australia’s largest provider of bathroom and plumbing products. The company’s continuing growth and strength within the marketplace has provided an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team of professionals. We are currently seeking an experienced Inbound Logistics Controller to join a Brand New distribution centre in the Eagle Farm area of Brisbane. To be considered for this new and exciting role with a company that prides themselves on career development and training, the successful candidate will have the following – • Must be experienced with Microsoft Office – especially Excel and Word. • Experienced with Internet and e-mail. • Experience with Inbound International freight – tracking and scheduling of inbound containers. • Scheduling of inbound pallets – all inbound deliveries of 4 pallets or more will require a scheduled delivery time. • Able to learn “Internal” computer/data systems. • Able to work as an individual or as a Team member – will be working in a close team environment. • Must have a pleasant personality and goods sense of humour – good phone manner. • Some experience with contact with Customs and/or AQIS for inbound international freight. • Able to prioritise work and vet inquiries – will be a contact point for RDC supervisor team. • Must be organised and efficient in Distribution Centre operations office.
