Large instantly recognised global organisation located on the outskirts of Homebush requires the expertise of a skilled Account Executive to join a professional and hard working Supply Chain team for a fixed term contract of 12 months with a view to permanent.

Purpose of this position is to assist in the placement of customer orders and the timely receipt and delivery of these orders to the customer. The role also requires the incumbent to create and maintain schedules for customer order placement and inventory control of all customer orders.

Key responsibilities: process customer orders, ensure the design information for customer products is up to date, liaise with internal departments to estimate time span for the availability of product to meet customer deadlines, ensure orders are entered into delivery schedule with proposed despatch dates, process relevant documents and organise delivery of stock to the customer, liaise with internal contacts in relation to the return of damaged goods and provide customers with stock status reports on a weekly basis.

The successful applicant will come from a background in supply chain/logistics, have exposure to managing key accounts OR have solid customer service experience in a planning/logistics/supply chain environment. You must display high attention to detail and exceptional interpersonal skills, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and juggle a varied work load. You will have the ability to build effective business relationships and thrive on working in a busy department. Intermediate to advanced Word and Excel skills are essential. Qualifications in Supply Chain and/or Logistics would be a definate advantage along with knowledge of the system SAP.
