A number of new outcomes have been identified and the role of the new Business focussed Project Managers is to participate in creating business cases that will deliver the identified outcomes, manage the project supported by an appointed Business BA and ensure delivery.

Of particular importance to the role is the time and risk' factor. To excel in the role, your logistics, operations and distribution centre experience would need to be well polished. You would require exceptional active listening skills and have a natural ability to transform information, manage stakeholders and communicate effectively.

Skills and experience required:

• Demonstrated experience of large scale project management of business projects particularly in a logistics environment
• Financial management & reporting
• Proven track record in delivery of end-to-end management of the full project life cycle in complex and distributed environments
• Understanding of Project Management Methods, Project Governance, processes and tool sets
• Demonstrated experience in engaging at all levels within the organisation
• Excellent logistics, operations and distribution centre industry knowledge and experience
• Process improvement and process design experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to quickly build business rapport and trust
• Multiple stakeholder experience in complex and distributed environments
• Strong analytical capabilities and effective communication
• Superior change management skills
