The role? Together we are currently searching for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join the team of one of their QLD mining operations. Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the sites EMS as well as communicating processes and procedures to the rest of the workforce. As the Environmental advisor you will also be required to conduct audits and identify improvement opportunities. What you will need? To be successful you will hold a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or equivalent and have experience working in a similar position within the mining and resource sector. You will be a goal orientated individual who can work autonomously as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills are required and you will have the ability to engage with various levels of personnel. What you will get? This is a site based role with a 5/2 4/3 roster. Site accommodation and all meals are covered as is a vehicle / vehicle allowance. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary reflective of experience and an industry leading 12% super.
