This could be your new role to kick start 2012 Local government body requires an experienced Senior Officer to facilitate sustainability workshops to educate and engage employees up until the end of the financial year. Responsibilities include: - Looking after internal communications and promoting sustainability awareness
- Running sustainability workshops, providing education and training on what sustainability means for the business, writing training material, getting staff engaged and gaining their commitment
- Educate employees on matters across environmental, social and economic issues
The position requires tertiary qualifications in education, communication or environmental management, together with at least five years experience in the delivery of education and engagement programs involved with sustainability. You will ideally have training & assessing qualifications as well as excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
