This leading construction, mining and services contractor with a large and diverse portfolio of work spaning Australia’s urban and regional centres and extending to New Zealand, Indonesia, and India is looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join their team.
 
Working in a professional environment and reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will utilise your leadership and high level problem solving skills to effectively manage issues and promote environmental awareness at the site.
 
As the key resource you will be responsible for providing expert advice in the management of the environmental monitoring of dust, noise, vibration, water management and ground disturbance, including the planning and execution of the sites rehabilitation. Importantly, the role involves contact and budget management as well as mentoring an environmental graduate.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
 

• Overseeing and leading continuous improvement in environmental management.  
  
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  
  
• Ensuring compliance with environmental, legal and other requirements  
  

  
To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications at Bachelor degree level in Environmental Science or Engineering, a minimum of 4 years environmental management experience in mining, demonstrated experience developing and implementing an EMS to enhance environmental performance and be able to influence and build relationships at all levels.
