An international organisation, well known as a leader in its field, has an exciting opportunity for a State Manager to drive a division of its business in Queensland. Formed in 2003, this division operates successfully under a number of brands, providing a breadth of services to its client base.

We are seeking a State Manager to be responsible for the region’s sales, profit and operational results. We require an individual who will seek to continuously improve profit, and drive business performance through creating efficient, world-class processes; who will research and develop growth opportunities and encourage lead generation and consistent reporting for the group; and who will collaborate nationally to develop sustainable networks and relationships. Additionally we seek a motivated person who will support and develop group strategy & policy, and who will develop and mentor employees across 5 sites.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with proven sales and negotiation skills, and highly developed people management skills, within an industrial or wholesale environment. To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate experience managing a business, developing and implementing strategy and working to sales targets. Ideally you will have a trade or engineering background, combined with business management experience.
