Established in Perth in 1995, our client focuses on biological systems to improve crop and soil health. They are a leading supplier of sustainable and organic fertilizers, plant stimulants, inoculants and crop protection products designed to improve yields and profits.With a main stream distribution network they are backed up with technical knowledge that enables farmers to grow crops biologically and economically. The combination of ‘products and service’ leads to more sustainable farming systems for every farmer.

The company is growing with sales expanding to the point where they now need an East Coast based, experienced Territory Sales Manager for Victoria, Sthn NSW and Tasmania.

Reporting to the General Manager you will enjoy being responsible for:

  • Sales within the defined territory
  • Building relationships and influencing distributors and farmers
  • Leading sales and technical training for distribution staff
  • Initiating local marketing campaigns
  • Guiding product development

You will be comfortable working closely with leading distributors and farmers, on farm, as they trial, expand and ultimately adopt the products. You have a methodical and disciplined approach to planning, coupled with a strong problem solving ability.

To be successful in this autonomous role you will have:

  • Agricultural Science or similar tertiary qualification
  • Extensive Rural Sales/ Territory Management experience enabling you to “hit the ground running’
  • An up to date network of farmer contacts, ideally including those involved with ‘biological inputs’
  • Horticultural and broadacre crop nutritional knowledge
  • Computer skills and experience using CRM software
  • Very high level interpersonal skills
