With an outstanding reputation for the production of a consistent and competitively priced quality product for the domestic and export beef markets, our client is an experienced specialist management and marketing company seeking to appoint an experienced Feedlot Manager for an established 30,000+ head feedlot in Southern Queensland.

In addition to proven feedlot management experience, you must:

• have sound leadership and people management skills;
• be a prudent financial manager with demonstrated budgeting, planning and cost control experience;
• have the ability to plan and implement capital projects;
• be aware of the importance of OH&S and compliance with the various regulatory and legislative requirements.

Above all you must be aware of your responsibilities to your neighbours and the community and maintain the company’s reputation as a good corporate citizen.

To reflect the importance of this position in the organisation a very attractive salary package plus superannuation, vehicle and 4 B/R air conditioned brick home will be negotiated. The feedlot is ideally situated only 35km from town on an all weather road with school buses to both primary and high schools at the front gate.
