This key animal nutrition business, part of a major international food company and prominent in the Australian and New Zealand animal feed markets, manufactures and sells animal feeds and nutrition solutions. It is one of the largest non integrated suppliers of feed solutions in the ANZ market.

Due to impending retirement, there is a requirement for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join the intensive livestock sales team. Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing the animal nutrition business in SE NSW. This involves building and maintaining relationships with long term key customers. Also, in addition to providing in-depth technical knowledge of the animal nutrition product range (dairy and beef cattle), you will identify and develop new market opportunities within the territory.

Being self organized and an effective communicator, you will enjoy the autonomous nature of the role, so managing the business like your own. A problem solver by nature, you have the ability to understand the customers needs and to impart knowledge.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• Tertiary qualification in animal science
• Practical dairy experience
• Technical knowledge of dairy cattle animal nutrition and husbandry
• Producer networks throughout the South eastern area of NSW
• Commercial selling / relationship skills
• Experience in business reporting and forecasting
• Computer literacy with MS Office
• Drivers license
