As an expanding wholesale supplier to Australia’s fresh food retail industry this company has a unique opportunity available for an experienced senior Account Manager. Dealing directly with the retailer your responsibilities will entail smoothing the transaction from grower to retailer, expanding the fresh food portfolio as you see appropriate and managing growth of sales, profit and procurement.

Your skills and responsibility are:

• account manager experience with fresh produce;
• proven success working with retailers;
• a person that builds and maintains professional relationships.
• working with growers to plan direct product procurement;
• able to evaluation and measure sales performance of the business and continually improve on it.
• profitability to the business through sales by volume, quality and supply.
• very good negotiation an analytical skills;
• sound knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
• experience with the Horticultural Industry.

You will act as the main interface between the customer, company and grower to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times. You will balance the demands by developing strategic plans to ensure continued supply and work with growers and category managers in regards to market prices to maintain full supply profitability.

Tertiary education is advantageous but a minimum of five years experience working with fresh food is required as well as strong sales and customer service skills. You must have a current drivers licence and be an Australian Resident to apply.
