Some companies, especially in the agriculture industry, are tapping into the unique job market of the so called grey nomads otherwise known as travelling retirees.
ABB Grain made a direct appeal to the many thousands of travelling retirees this year and found that positions were snapped up. (Connors, Financial Review, 2008) This could start a new trend as companies get the workers they need and they are experienced.
