Chandler Macleod is now recruiting for fast paced Poultry Sortation Workers to join the team with a sizable Hatchery Operation in Cranbourne/Devon Meadows.

Working on a conveyor line you will be required to handle newly hatched chicks and sort them according to the wing formation. Training will be provided but you must have fast hands, dexterous fingertips , QA focus, have a background in fast paced production along with a tolerance to all aspects of a livestock setting.

Hours of work are from 5am and require applicants available to work 4-5 Days a week. Flexibility to work on Public Holidays and some Saturdays to support extended production demands will also be required.

Due to quarantine measure associated with the Poultry industry you must have no contact with birds or pigs and will need to shower before entering the Production Area.

Applicants with the following attributes would be highly regarded:

* Demonstrated Fast paced Production Experience
* Comfortable to deal with all aspects of the Livestock Industry
* Available to commit to ongoing Day shift work
* Have own reliable transport

Applicants with prior Meat Production, Livestock handling or Poultry experience would be highly regarded but not essential.
