This is an opportunity for an experienced Criminal lawyer to take on a leadership role in this peak Indigenous legal body in Adelaide. You will join a strong team of lawyers who provide high quality and culturally appropriate legal representation to clients. You will have experience conducting hearings including jury trials in a range of jurisdictions, and ideally demonstrate management and supervision skills. You will have a strong understanding of the criminal legal system and its impact on Aboriginal people, and be able to communicate effectively with clients of the service as well as maintain effective relationships with community networks, court staff, magistrates, police and other stakeholders in the criminal justice system.
