We currently have a Claims Officer position available in our Intermediary Distribution team based in Brisbane. Processing and settling property and motor general insurance claims, this position will ensure a great career path with QBE. Key role responsibilities include: The processing of claims in line with set procedures and policies, ensuring that claims are documented correctly, and resolved with a prompt and effective outcome. Managing claims using the appropriate external and internal specialists to achieve the settlement outcome efficiently and effectively. A continuing improvement focus attitude with the implementation of new work practices and procedures, initiating and facilitating change and innovations. Ability to enhance and develop your own technical expertise and participate in professional development and training. Ensuring the delivery of high quality customer service and develop a good working relationship with all customers and service providers. To be successful in this role we are seeking candidates who have an understanding of general insurance and have experience in property and motor claims. You will have fantastic PC skills and also possess the understanding of relevant Industry Legislation. A member of ANZIIF will be highly regarded.
