A fantastic newly created position for an experienced Assistant Life Product Manager to join one of the world’s leading insurance organisations. This is an exciting career changing role where you will get the opportunity to build on your already extensive life product experience while working closely with the existing Life Product Manager.

Reporting directly to the Life Product Manager you will be responsible for assisting them in all aspects of managing a portfolio of tailor made customer orientated Life Insurance and Protection products.

In this key role as the Assistant Life Product Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all retail life and protection products ensuring they are competitive and financially sound.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include -

·         Manage and maintain a strong working relationship with a portfolio of clients

·         Assist the Product Manager with product/systems/process changes that may arise due to legislation changes

·         Monitor and identify legislation changes and product upgrades and assist in the subsequent implementation of any required policy and product disclosure statement amendments

·         Assist the Product Manage in yearly and half years statement reviews

·         Providing daily support and acting as a subject matter expect for all internal and external clients

·         Draft customised contracts for individual clients

You will need –

·         Strong experience in a Life Product Management role

·         Demonstrated  ability to review, analyse and correctly interpret commercial, compliance and legal documents

·         Professional verbal and written communication skills

·         Proven ability to effectively negotiate and make sound commercial decisions

·         Ability to work  on own initiative, under pressure and to tight deadlines

·         Strong competitor analysis experience
