Our client, based on the city fringe urgently needs an experienced claims officer to help with their current high volume of claims.

In this role you will handle all claims related telephone enquiries and provide information, assistance and guidance in relation to the companys products. You will manage and process insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner in line with company guidelines and make use of the in-house database to enter all claims related data accurately. As part of the role you will liaise not only with clients, but with external service providers and relevant internal parties. Working as part of a team you will also be required to assist others in their duties when required.

To succeed in this role you will have a demonstrated customer service background in insurance or a related industry. You must thrive on working in a fast paced environment and be committed to continuous improvement. You will pride yourself on being customer focused and you will communicate articulately and sincerely. Previous working knowledge of Insurance Claims would be desirable and a Certificate IV in Financial Services (General Insurance) will give you a distinct advantage.
