You will be responsible for new business development and maintaining a thriving commercial book that includes major client accounts as well as some smaller clients.
You will have the autonomy to liaise with underwriters and run the portfolio in a results-focused manner to deliver outstanding results for the business. You will also be a mentor to junior staff and be involved with strategy and planning for the team.
Ideally you will have:
At least 5-10 years General Insurance broking experience with commercial clients
New business development experience with proven track record for converting leads and closing sales
Sound relationship management skills and the ability to influence at a senior level
Strong customer service focus and flexible approach
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Tier 1 broking qualifications
