My client is a market leading software/technology company that have a range of highly complex products (developed in C++) that are used by clients across the globe.

With demand for their products continuing to increase they have an excellent opening for a Product Support Specialist/Technologist to join their team. Ideally i am looking for a technically sophisticated candidate who has good problem solving/support/diagnostic skills.

I am looking for a highly technical person who has a real love & passion for technology & enjoys complex problem solving. In terms of technology candidates should have a good understanding of programming languages (Java, .Net, C#, C++ )& the underlying technology that software products sit on. Skills in areas such as Scripting (Perl, Python, Shell, VB) & automation would be well regarded. Any experience running test scripts, diagnosing problems and root cause analysis would be good. Ideally you will have experience working with software products & the ability to demonstrate a highly developed aptitude & passion for technology & the ability to think logically & creatively around complex technical problems.

Additionally I am ideally looking for someone with Enterprise Software Product experience (IBM, BMC Software, HP, Redwood Software, UC4 Software, JBoss, SAP, Microsoft, Adobe Systems, Oracle, Computer Associates etc) as this experience will be well regarded.

This is an excellent role, supporting clients with product issues, testing defects & providing resolutions. This is a complex software product you will be working with so the ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly is essential.
