Our client is seeking a well-rounded internal recruitment expert with experience within engineering and/or construction in Brisbane. This is an ongoing temporary position with an immediate start date.

With an expert knowledge of coal handling and preparation (CHPP) and project delivery, our client is seeking a creative HR Advisor/Internal Recruiter to work closely with the Human Resource Manager to assist with the development and implementation of innovative sourcing and attraction strategies.

With experience in the utilisation of social media, talent sourcing strategy and a preferable background in internal recruitment, you will bring a variety of skills and new ideas to the role. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills whilst managing internal requirements and candidate expectations in a high volume recruitment role. You will utilise creative sourcing methods and have an innate ability to ‘think outside the square’.

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

• Experience within construction, engineering or mining fields
• Previous experience managing end-to-end recruitment for permanent and contractor roles on a national scale
• Experience in recruiting a mix of technical, white-collar and blue-collar related positions
• Previous experience in generalist HR activities
