Senior Trainer/Education Manager Sydney

Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to achieve the training, education and health information literacy objectives of our clients Knowledge Solutions business unit thereby improving the quality of healthcare outcomes.

Key Training
? To increase knowledge and raise awareness of available, authoritative and relevant information resources, thereby improving health information literacy, through face to face train the trainer sessions and workshops.
? To enhance information access through the provision of best-practice search techniques, thereby improving search skills.
? To develop E-learning objects and visual E-learning tools to assist users with transforming health information to knowledge.

Deliverables
Deliver train the trainer and end-user training sessions to our customers in a variety of formats, including in person and online.
Enhance, further develop and implement Knowledge Solution's Learning and Development strategy to both support and facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
Develop and implement training curriculums, in consultation with customers, to address the educational requirements of general and specialist user groups.

Experience
Tertiary qualification in learning and development, library management or a related discipline
Experience in the development and use of E-learning applications
Exposure and understanding of web based applications in the health sector
Exposure to web based clinical knowledge resources in the health sector

Key Skills
Ability to educate people with varying roles within organisations
Ability to educate people with varying computer skills
Ability to educate people with varying information literacy skills

Public and Private Hospitals - clinicians and knowledge managers

Academic Institutions - faculty and staff Health and Medical Librarians
