This entry level position is working in the Education and Visitor Services section of a large cultural institution, and is your opportunity to work with a team who are dedicated to their organisation. We are looking for an individual who has an interest in getting a non ongoing contract which may lead to bigger things. Ideally you will have an interest in history, curatorship, or are looking for an opportunity to use your time before going on to further study. You will need to be able to display strong computer skills, the ability to juggle a number of tasks at once, the drive to be the best that you can be and a desire to learn. Tasks include: - preparing routine correspondence
- arranging hospitality for official guests
- developing and maintaining internal office systems and procedures
- management of correspondence and files
- ordering office supplies
- processing accounts
- coordinating reports on business and Section plans
- liaison with internal and external stakeholders
