This globally renowned multidisciplinary contractor has an array of award winning projects under their belt. To meet our client’s current and future work commitments, we require an experienced Scheduler/Planner to support the delivery of a major Oil & Gas project, located in Central Queensland. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role preparing and assessing detailed project plans for all stages and facets to help deliver project outcomes on time. Within this role, you will be responsible for assisting the planning function during the design and construction phase. Liaising with the project team, you will work closely with the client to monitor trends, administer/develop project schedules and assume responsibility for earned value reporting. Due to the complexity of the project, the individual will possess strong communication skills along with the ability of building relationships with key project staff and external stakeholders. Previous exposure to large oil & gas or infrastructure projects is required along with your tertiary engineering qualifications. It’s important the individual fosters a strong commitment to health and safety as well as willingness to comply with all Total Quality Manager policies, procedures and systems.
