Our Client:

Our client is a leading EPCM who specialises in the design and delivery of mine, rail and port projects for the resources and infrastructure sectors both in Australia and overseas. Due to recent and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to work in their Perth based office.

The Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Lead Civil Engineer, this role will provide technical support under general supervision in relation to design and engineering services for civil engineering projects, in particular for a major Iron Ore development in the Pilbara region of WA.

• Ensure all civil engineering project work complies with project requirements and is delivered on time and within budget
• Prepare preliminary detailed designs, specifications etc for all civil engineering project work in line with the conditions and parameters set out in the project scope of works
• Liaise with other departments engineers and draftspersons to achieve project goals
• Assist with the Civil Engineering budget
• Mentor and train graduate civil engineers

To be Considered:

• ~5 years engineering experience on large projects, preferably in a similar role
• Engineering qualification recognised by Engineers Australia
• Demonstrated commercial acumen
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written/technical writing skills
• Excellent time-management skills and self-motivation
