An unrivaled opportunity has presented itself to represent one of the most recognised and reputable International Constructors in Vietnam for a minimum 24 month period.

With an extensive history across the globe this developer / builder has numerous award winning projects, landmark developments and career progression opportunities which are boundless.

Due to strong project pipeline, organic growth and expansion, we are currently looking for a proven and established Senior Estimator who is a tertiary qualified Quantity Surveyor or equivalent to spearhead this business’ project in Vietnam.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary educated background in either Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying and or Construction Management and must have had a minimum 10 years project exposure to the Australian Construction sector within a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 builder / developer in a similar role.

A hands on senior management position, You will lead a medium sized professional and driven team of QS’ and estimators and will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and dealing heavily with clients and their stakeholders.

 

A range of major project exposure will be on offer so Senior Estimating or Senior Cost Planning candidates with the following Australian major project experience will be highly regarded and immediately shortlisted:

·         Health (Hospital)

·         High Rise apartments (Tower)

·         Airports

·         Institutional (prisons and correctional facilities)

 

To be successful in this role you must have proven ability to:

 

·         Prepare Cost plans and estimates

·         Prepare tender documents and measuring BOQ”s

·         Carry out tender evaluation and prepare tender reports

·         Checking contractor’s application and preparing interim payment certificates

·         Checking and agreeing with a recommendation for payment, the contractor’s final account

·         Evaluating proposed variations to contract with respect to financial impact on the contract

·         Attend meetings as required

·         Preparing cost reports

·         Preparing monthly Invoice targets to schedule.

·         Produce project budget as per cost Centre’s in coordination with planning manager

·         Update and maintain project budget

·         Responsible for project budgetary control
