Aspect Personnel have a strategic requirement in the western suburbs of Melbourne for a Major Development Planner to work with a municipality on complex planning application relating to growth area developments.

Reporting directly to the Coordinator Major Projects your key responsibilities will be to assess major development applications relating to growth area planning and to provide advice to the general public, developers and the clients of council in relation to the provisions of the planning scheme and council's policies and procedures.   

This municipality is on the look out for principal planners who have had previous experience within a local consultancy or local government environment and can demonstrate their knowledge and skill working on large complex subdivision applications.

You will have highly developed interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications, liaison and facilitation. In addition, you will have a thorough understanding of the Victorian planning system, including the Victoria Planning Provisions and ResCode.
