A national architectural practice with a strong pipeline of hospital projects is seeking an experienced Health Architect/Planner to help design major hospitals around Australia from their Sydney studio.

You are skilled and very experienced in taking on responsibility for medium to large scale new and redevelopment hospital projects in the public and private sectors as well as PPP's. Working with the Director of Health Projects or the Managing Director, you will be the client liaison contact for User Group Meetings (particularly with clinicians and nurses), taking the Client Brief and producing Masterplanning, Concept Designs, Design Development and Contract Documentation. You will have the chance in this role to be instrumental in winning new projects in conjunction with the Directors.

This position will also provide you the opportunity to make presentations to Health Infrastructure NSW and private sector health clients.

You will have at least 10 years experience with a recognized leading practice in the health sector in Australia and a minimum of 5 years on major health projects in NSW and possibly other states, and be registered in NSW. Experience in designing and managing projects in the aged care sector will looked on favourably, but is not an essential requirement.

Preferably you will be skilled at using AutoCAD and Revit in the design and documentation of major projects. Revit training will be provided to the successful candidate if required.
