Our client is seeking a retail lending officer to join their dynamic team located in Eagle Farm. This will be a full time position, working in a beautifully appointed premises with a warm and friendly team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the end to end processing of all personal, residential, investment, overdraft and credit card applications for the credit union.Experience in mortgage lending essential. The role will be predominantly processing personal loans.
To be considered for this role you will need experience in:
- Credit assessment
- Insurance sales
- Document preparation
- Settlements
- General administration.
At least three years related experience in a bank, credit union or other financial institution is required as well as knowledge of the full loans approval process from submission to approval. The successful applicant will also need to have held a DLA and be experienced in branch automation, loan documentation and understading of consumer credit plus domestic insurances. A relevant Tier 2 certificate is also needed and working knowledge of relevant legislation. Intermediate proficiency with word processing and email applications is also required.
We are looking for a self motivated and proactive team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Being well organized, flexible and having strong customer service skills is also a priority.
You will be working with excellent remuneration plus benefits are offered. Working hours are 7:00am - 3:30 pm plus one rostered day off per month.
