Credit Analyst - Metals and Mining

Joining as a Credit Analyst and reporting to the Head of Metals and Mining, you will focus on clients inside the resources industry.

Leveraging your broad experience across this market segment, you will provide expert analysis and financial modeling to prepare robust credit submissions, while simultaneously monitoring current exposures and maintaining an acute awareness of risk.
You will be expected to take an active lead in preparing pitch-books and assisting in marketing efforts, as well as in developing strong client relations by attending meetings and site visits. Along with this you will drive industry, company and competitor analysis and research, ensuring that this role will engage and challenge you.

It is expected that you will possess between three to five years prior credit analysis experience and an intimate appreciation of the major and minor players inside the Metals and Mining sector in Australia. You may come from a background in structured or project finance or possibly be looking for a move back into the banking framework after working on the client side.

Along with this breakdown of experience, we are seeking robust technical skills, superlative interpersonal attributes, a history of credit analysis and a real interest in this exciting sphere.
