Tax Processor | Accountant - Administrator
An exciting opportunity has now opened for a Tax Processor. Our client, a national brand name located in the CBD, this role is suitable for applicants who has experience working in the superannuation industry in dealing the tax processing and superannuation accounting.
Our client is seeking for a tax processor/ accountant that is familiar with the provisioning of client tax level in the superannuation environment. The main responsibility is to schedule and execute taxation processes which include Government Co-Contribution and Super Guarantee Charge administration and reconciliations.
The Role
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have knowledge and exposure in basic Superannuation concepts
- Understand General Reconciliation and Data Processing systems and skills
- Ensure appropriate reconciliations for accuracy of process reporting (data integrity)
- Preparation and the lodging the annual Member Contribution Statements and lodgement of amended contributions
- Process ATO surcharge assessments and Co-contributions and SGC Contributions
- Investigate and resolve tax queries with appropriate solutions
Your Background

- Have strong experience in exposure to data entry, generic reconciliation skills or book keeping skills.
- Be an excellent team player
- Be able to provide correct and accurate information for queries requested
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated a high level of understanding new concepts quickly
